Tyler's addiction to heroin began when he became addicted to the prescription pills he was taking to cope with football injuries.

A local organization has partnered with the newly formed Drug Court in Ohio County, and is preparing their staff on how to identify and care for those affected by drug abuse. Employees from all 5 offices of Wellspring Services gathered in Wheeling Friday for a two day training on substance abuse assessment, treatment and after care. Wellspring Family Services is a division of Crittenton Services that is now the exclusive providers for the new juvenile drug court in Ohio County.
