Linsly Routs Allderdice; Stays Unbeaten

The Linsly Cadets improved to 8-0 on the season with a 41-6 win over Allderdice, Pa. out of the Pittsburgh City League, at Lockhart Field.

Linsly quarterback Alex Stephens completed 16 of 19 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns. Senior fullback Mark Dodd scored two touchdowns--one rushing and one receiving. Anthony Thompson caught a touchdown pass from Stephens.

Linsly's Chris Stephens, the twin brother of Alex, had three interceptions from his cornerback position.

The Cadets host another Pittsburgh City League team, Brashear, next Saturday afternoon. Linsly will wrap up the season with a city-of-Wheeling showdown with Wheeling Central on Friday, November 4.
