2nd Annual Marshall County Fall Festival Held in Moundsville
MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. -
The 2nd Annual Marshall County Fall Festival was held Saturday in Moundsville. Crafters, food vendors and children's activities lined Jefferson Avenue from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Many local residents came out to enjoy the fall weather and shop for some new decorations. Activities for kids included face painting, pony rides, and bow shooting provided by Cabela's.
Director of the Moundsville Activities Committee, Phil Remke took a turn in the dunking booth this afternoon just after he spoke with WTRF.com
"We've got the duck pond, football toss, and pumpkin bowling," he says. "We're going to have character drawings and walking magicians. This is something that is very unique to the valley. It's showing Moundsville is alive and well in Marshall County."
In the past, the Fall Festival had coincided with the zombie walk. However, the zombie walk will be held next Saturday, September 29th at the former W.Va. State Penitentiary.
