Holiday entertainment for the whole family is planned from Nov. 23 through Jan. 6 at the Clay Center in Charleston.
Reindeer hat making, Olympic-style Holly Field Day and visits with Santa are offered on Nov. 23 from noon to 4 p.m. The holiday exhibit "Traditions: A Celebration of Heritage" offers whimsically designed and decorated trees and original artworks by emerging West Virginia artists. The exhibit runs until Dec. 30.
Also, opening Nov. 23 is the Reason for the Season planetarium show. Explore the origins of the world's holiday celebrations and traditions, many of which have their roots in the stars and stories of the nighttime sky. Shows are Wednesday – Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Sundays at noon and 2 p.m.
