The 16-year-old accused in the murder of two men in an apartment shooting in Steubenville has been formally charged with two counts of murder with a firearm specification.
A probable cause hearing will be scheduled. If probable cause is found, the teen will be tried as an adult.

Two men are dead after a shooting last night in Steubenville and one person is behind bars for the crime.
According to police Ryan Toson, 21, and Otavius Wilson, 19, both of Steubenville, were killed.
Police responded to Heritage Place Apartments around 9:30 p.m. last night where they found two men on the ground outside.
Both victims were taken to Trinity West where they were later pronounced dead.
Early this morning, with help from the detective division and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, police arrested a 16-year-old wanted for shooting the two victims.
Police and emergency crews are at the scene of a shooting in Steubenville.
The shooting occurred about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Heritage Place Apartments on Market Street. Authorities at the scene tell 7News two people were shot and reports indicate they were taken to Trinity West Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Unconfirmed reports indicate a possible fatality.
BCI remains on scene collecting evidence.
Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty said more information pertaining to the shooting would be released Thursday morning.
