WV Senate Judiciary Committee Advances Gaming Bill
The Wheeling Island Hotel Casino and Racetrack along with other casinos across the Mountain State might get some help when it comes to table gaming.
The West Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee advanced a bill that will lower the annual fee for table games by one million dollars. The original fee was set at 2.5 million and was threatening the future of table games at Wheeling Island.
The bill will still have to go before the entire state Senate and then the House before it can take affect.
