WTRF sat down with the Top 10 finalists from X-Factor Ohio Valley and asked them a few questions. Each finalist was asked:

"What was your reaction when you heard your name announced for the Top 10?"

"When did you first learn you had talent for singing?"

What made you decide to sign up for the X-Factor auditions?"

Here's what they had to say.

Tim Jones of Dallas, W.Va.

"I was surprised! I thought I did decent, but I was intimidated. Excited and surprised! I sang 'Boot Scootin' Boogie' karaoke. My wife signed me up and made me come."

Jordan Miracle of Shadyside, Ohio

"I was so surprised and excited! my heart skipped a beat and I felt blessed! When I started walking, I've been singing since I was two. I have a dream to sing and I don't ever intend to give up that dream!"

C.J. Wise of Woodsfield, Ohio

"I was so excited, it was a big sigh of relief. I've worked at this for a long time and to finally see something come out of it is a great feeling. In eighth grade when someone convinced me to sing while I played guitar. It's convenient that it was only 30 miles away from me and I always wanted to try out for a singing competition."

Kaydon Hardman of Wheeling, W.Va.

"Absolutely overwhelmed. Very blessed and so excited! I've been singing my entire like. When I was two my mom recorded me singing 'Just Around the Riverbend' from Pocahontas so I guess I figured out I could sing at a very young age. My family is a huge support system. My Uncle Bob recently passed away and 'Crazy' was his favorite song. So, I did it for him and for myself because all I want in life is to sing."

Gary Barker of East Liverpool, Ohio

"Thanked God for answering my prayers. Two-years-old, When I heard Alabama's Mountain Music. Cousin Misty sent me the Facebook link."

Paige Madden of Moundsville, W.Va.

"Excitement! I love performing and appreciate every opportunity I get. As soon as I could talk! I was a top three contestant last year and decided to give it another shot."

Shenoa of Moundsville, W.Va.

"Excited and grateful! Thank you! I hope to go all the way to win! I sang since I was a child, I started playing guitar and writing songs at 13-years-old. I was surprised they had auditions in this area and have been pursuing music for years, I couldn't pass up this opportunity."

Jesse Williams of Wheeling, W.Va.

"I was beyond excited! The opportunity to be along side these amazing singers is an honor! In the third grade, my choir teacher tole me he wanted to teach me privately and said I had potential. Anything that can get me closer to achieving my dream is something I am interested in. I thought this could be it!"

Stevie Lynn Boles of Wheeling, W.Va.

'Excited and overwhelmed. When I was eight singing at home. I wanted to share my voice with others and singing is my passion."

Elizabeth Keim of Glen Dale, W.Va.

"Very excited, relieved and I felt very blessed. I started singing before I could talk, it has always been an outlet for me. I heard about it through a friend. My mom really encouraged me to sing at X-Factor."

The top 10 will compete again Saturday, April 27 starting at noon at the Strand Theater in Moundsville for a chance to be flown to the X-Factor auditions in Denver, Colorado. WTRF would like to thank our sponsors Sunset Motors, Biggie 100.5, Jack FM and Kool 105.
