    The West Virginia Child Advocacy Network and West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence are getting help from Verizon's HopeLine program to help those affected by domestic violence and child abuse.

The West Virginia Oil Marketers and Grocers Association is tackling a "Mission: Possible" this week in Raleigh County.

The trade group of the state's petroleum marketers, convenience stores and independent grocers will host its annual trade show and golf outing May 13-15 at the Resort at Glade Springs.

OMEGA President Jan Vineyard said this year's event theme is "Mission: Possible," and the event will give members tools to enhance their relationship and networks with customers, vendors and suppliers.

"We'll also raise money for scholarships and have some fun along the way," Vineyard said.

The expo will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 15, and it will feature about 100 exhibitors with the latest goods and services. And as for the scholarship, OMEGA has raised more than $108,000 since it started to help support higher education for association member employees, members and their children.

The OMEGA member golf tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14 on the Cobb and Stonehaven golf courses at the Resort at Glade Springs.
