A Findlay, Ohio, woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to bring marijuana to an inmate at London, Ohio, Correctional Institution.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers said that Lesley Hernandez, 36, had a scheduled visit for Thursday, May 9, at 2:45 p.m. with an inmate. Surveillance was conducted by troopers who observed Hernandez pass the contraband to the inmate. Hernandez and the inmate were taken into custody, and troopers located and recovered 9.9 grams of marijuana.
The marijuana has a prison value of $400.00. Hernandez was jailed in the Tri-County Regional Jail and charged with attempting to convey illegal drugs into a correctional facility, a third-degree felony.
