The Clay Center consistently brings eclectic, big-name acts to West Virginia, and its 2013 Clay Center Presents season will be no different.

The lineup will stretch from classic rock icons to an iconic Motown legend.

The Clay Center is in its 10th year, and season tickets for the performances are on sale now.

The fall Clay Center Presents schedule will include Mountain Stage with Larry Groce Sept. 29, featuring songwriters Ani DiFranco, Dave Mason and roots band Dawes along with the jazz band Red Baraat.

Dennis DeYoung: A Founding Member of Styx is scheduled for Oct. 11. DeYoung was the band's lead singer and songwriter on seven of its eight top 10 hits, including "Lady," and "Come Sail Away."

The Doobie Brothers will play Oct. 13, and the group has a new album "World Gone Crazy," to supplement its classic hits such as "Black Water" and "Listen to the Music," and the musical Les Miserables will be co-presented with the Charleston Light Opera Guild Nov. 1-2 and Nov. 8-9.

The Clay Center also has scheduled add-on events to the performance season that include Diana Ross Aug. 21, The Beach Boys Sept. 22 and the Diana Krall Glad Rag Doll Tour Oct. 20 and also Celtic Woman: Home for Christmas, a symphony tour co-presented with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra Dec. 3.

Tickets for the add-on events are available only for season ticket holders for a period of time before single tickets are sold to the general public. Season ticket holders also are given advanced priority notice for ticket sales and are offered first-chance ticket sales which include the best seating as well as priority renewal for the spring 2014 season.

Season ticket packages are on sale now, and current season ticket holders have through 5 p.m. June 2 to renew and receive seating priority. Single tickets for all Clay Center Presents fall 2013 performances go on sale at 10 a.m. July 1.

Sponsors for the Fall 2013 performance season include BrickStreet Insurance, The Dow Chemical Company, Brooks Run Mining Company and Robinson & McElwee, PLLC.
