Two People Dead After Plane Crashes at Ohio Air Show
Federal officials say they will investigate the deadly Ohio air show crash that took the lives of a wing walker and the pilot.
Thousands were watching the biplane at the Vectren Air Show near Dayton on Saturday as it glided through the sky then rolled over, crashed and exploded into flames. It wasn't clear what had gone wrong.
The show was canceled for the rest of the day, and the National Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating the crash.
In 2011, wing walker Todd Green fell 200 feet to his death at an air show in Michigan while performing a stunt. In 2007, veteran stunt pilot Jim LeRoy was killed at the Dayton show when his biplane slammed into the runway while performing loop-to-loops and caught fire.
