West Beats East In Frontier League All-Star Game


The West snapped the East's modest two game win streak in the Frontier League All-Star Game with a 4-2 win, Wednesday night.

The West scored three times in the second including a pair of runs on a triple from former Cambridge Bobcat Sean Mahley, now with the Schaumburg Boomers.

The East would cut the lead to one with a pair of run scoring singles in the bottom of the sixth from Evansville's John Schultz and Lake Erie's Max Casper.

The West would respond with an RBI double from Gateway's Landon Hernandez in the top of the seventh.

Mahley was named the game MVP. Frontier League actions resumes, Friday.
