McMechen Woman Arrested in Hit-and-Run of Boy on Bike
A McMechen woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident involving a McMechen boy over the weekend.
According to McMechen Police Chief David Robinson, 45-year-old Melissa Milam was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and was charged with fleeing the scene of an accident with injury, and failure to render aid and information.
Milam was arraigned on Wednesday afternoon by Magistrate David Buzzard.
A McMechen boy is recovering in a Pittsburgh hospital after colliding with a vehicle in an alleged hit-and-run accident on Sunday.
According to authorities, Dustin Beazel was riding his bike down a steep hill on 12th Street and collided with a car traveling south on Marshall Street. The driver then reportedly fled the scene. Beazel suffered serious injuries according to family members.
