Anti-Bullying Campaign Begins at Ohio Valley Mall

The Ohio Valley Mall is doing its part to stop bullying in its tracks, and on Thursday, the community gathered as the "Be A Buddy, Not A Bully," program was kicked off.

"Be A Buddy, Not A Bully" is the Ohio Valley Mall's new program, reaching out to pre-schoolers through 8-year-olds. At Thursday's kick-off, children heard stories from "Captain McFinn the Shark," and his friend Coral Rose. And everyone, from deputies to mayors to pre-schoolers signed the anti-bullying pledge.

On Saturday, there's an anti-bullying walk, starting at 11 a.m., for kids and parents.

Check out the mall's web site for upcoming events.
