Whiteside Chevrolet Hosts Second Annual "Trunk-or-Treat"
Hundreds of children put on their costumes a day early for Whiteside Chevrolet's "Trunk-or-Treat" event Wednesday evening in St. Clairsville.
Whiteside employees decorated the trunks of 10 vehicles and dressed up to hand out candy bars. They had plenty of refreshments, door prizes, and the always popular "Haunted Hallway."
General Manager, Ted Showalter, was pleased with the turnout. The line of ghosts and goblins wrapped the whole way around the building for most of the night.
"We are keeping track of how many we have this year," he says. "Last year, we had about 900 people through the door. I'm guessing we've doubled that this year, so we're pushing 2,000 people tonight, and it's just awesome."
This was the second annual "Trunk-or-Treat" at Whiteside's. It was free and open to the public.
