Warwood Man Says He Was Shot at After Telling Driver to Slow Down

Wheeling Police Officers responded to a call of shots being fired at another person on 242 Warwood Avenue on Saturday at around 2:45 p.m.

Officers said the victim told them, "he yelled for a car to slow down on Warwood Avenue yesterday and the driver stopped his car, walked toward the victim, fired one shot at him and then ran back to his car and drove off."

Police are looking for a white male about 5-foot-8-inches tall, with a heavy/stocky build, bald, and in his mid-to-late twenties. The suspect's car is believed to be a silver, newer body style Honda Civic or Accord with West Virginia registration.
