Marshall County Students Presented With 'Rachael's Challenge'

Posted: Updated:

Nearly 15 years have passed since the Columbine High School shooting but still today, one of the victim's message is being spread throughout the world, and on Wednesday, hundreds of students in Marshall County were presented with "Rachel's Challenge."

Sherrard and Moundsville Middle Schools along with Cameron High School, packed into the auditorium at John Marshall High School, just like thousands of students have across the country to meet Rachel Scott, who was the first person killed during the Columbine High School shooting.

Rachel was one of the 13 victims that day that changed the way our country felt when they heard the word Columbine - but in the short time leading up to her death Rachel kept six journals that have now inspired people from across the country, to around the world, to just be "better."
