Children's Museum of the Upper Ohio Valley Opens "Camp Winter Wonderland"
The Children's Museum of the Ohio Valley is hosting "Camp Winter Wonderland" to make sure kids can have some winter-themed fun during the long Christmas break.
Kids in the camp will learn how to crochet, sew a winter scarf, or create a stop-motion movie like so many of the holiday classics. The camp kicks off Thursday and will run every weekday through Christmas break from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. except on Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Years Day.
Patricia Croft, Director of the museum, said, "The kids have about two weeks off from school and parents still have to work most of those days so this is a good opportunity for parents to drop their kids off from 9 till 4 while they work and then the kids are having fun and learning new things as well."
Croft says she's looking forward to the kids making stop-motion videos the most. If you want to take your kids to Camp Winter Wonderland you have to pre-register online at the Children's Museum website, here.
