Fifteen Ohio Valley Residents Arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Painkillers

Fifteen Ohio Valley residents were arrested in an early morning sweep by law enforcement agencies and charged with conspiracy to distribute painkillers.

At a Monday afternoon press conference, U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that a 16-month investigation led to the arrests that began at 6 a.m. Monday morning. Ihlenfeld said thousands of pills were recovered as the result of controlled buys by undercover officers.

The 15 indicted were:

Jill West - aka "Jill Namack"

Steven L. Namack

Christopher "Chris" Howard

Buddy "BJ" Robert Salem Jr.

Cara Olako - aka "Cara Green"

Richard W. Hercules, Jr.
