Healy E. Baumgardner-Nardone was born and raised in Marshall County and she resides in Wheeling with her husband, Dr. Emil Nardone, and their two four-legged children, Pucci (a giant Schnauzer) and Bruiser (a Neapolitan Mastiff). 

She attended West Virginia University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in public relations/journalism. She also enjoys exercising, cooking, interior decorating and reading in her spare time. She said she likes to incorporate prayer and positive thinking in her everyday life.

The news junkie has appeared in print, television and radio around the world including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, CNN, Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, among many others. As an undergraduate, she earned a leadership position with the Bush/Cheney 2000 campaign, served as a senior press official in the White House and Press Secretary for Energy on behalf of the United States.
