    As Appalachian coal production continues its drastic decline, West Virginia’s coal-producing counties are  not only losing people as lifelong residents are forced to flee their homes in order to find work, but in many cases, they’re also relinquishing millions of dollars from their budgets.

MILTON, WV -

Cenergy, LLC has been named the 2013 Construction Company of the Year for the Northeast Region by the Oil & Gas Awards.

"I'm proud of our success, but I'm even more proud of our people," said Cenergy President Chuck King. "Our employees take pride in their work and strive for safety and perfection.

"It is an exciting time to be part of an energy revolution, and it is an honor to be included among the leaders of our industry," King added.

Customers of Cenergy, based in Milton, are from the fields of natural gas transmission, production, distribution and storage companies.

Cenergy has over 100 employees, including engineers, project managers, field superintendents, certified welders, mechanics, truck drivers, heavy equipment operators and laborers. It has completed projects in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky and Virginia.

The Oil & Gas Awards celebrate the advances made in environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility, health and safety.
