An area man facing charges including sexual assault and conspiracy to commit kidnapping will go on trial, despite law enforcement agencies being unable to find the alleged target of the crime.
On Friday, Ohio County Magistrate Joe Roxby ruled that enough probable cause existed for Alex Galensky, 32, to face trial on the charges, as law enforcement agencies continued to search for the juvenile targeted in the alleged crime.
Galensky, 32, was arrested in Ohio County earlier this week after criminal complaints were filed against him. Details of the complaint were not immediately released because the alleged crimes involve a juvenile.
He is currently being held in the Northern Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
