Marshall County Road Closed After Mine Subsidence Creates Slip
Marshall County drivers are being advised of a road closure that is expected to last all week.
The West Virginia Department of Highways has closed County Route 48, also known as Lone Oak Road, after a large slip covered part of the road. The slip was caused by mine subsidence. Consol has subcontracted a company to clean up the slip and they expect it to be done by Friday.
We will continue to keep you updated as soon as we know when the road will be reopen.
