UPDATE: Pre-Trial Hearing Continued for Wheeling Man Facing Sexual Assault Charges
UPDATE: A pre-trial hearing for a Wheeling man facing sexual assault charges has been continued.
Robert Turner was set to appear in front of Ohio County Magistrate Harry Radcliffe Wednesday, but the case has been continued and no new date has been set.
Turner is out on bond and is ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims.
He was arrested last week at his home on Wheeling Island and charged with two counts of sexual assault by a custodian and two counts of first degree sexual assault.
ORIGINAL STORY: A Wheeling man arrested on Friday morning is facing serious charges.
The Mountain State Fugitive Task Force served two warrants at 8:20 a.m. Friday morning at a home along South Wabash Street in Wheeling, where they arrested 37-year-old Robert Turner Jr. He is being charged with two counts of sexual assault by a custodian and two counts of first-degree sexual assault.
Turner appeared before Ohio County Magistrate Harry Radcliffe Friday morning and remains in the Northern Regional Jail under a $400,000 bond.
