Local Children Graduate From 'Ride With Pride' Program
A graduation ceremony took place for some local children who are part of the "Ride with Pride" program on Tuesday evening.
The program is a therapeutic horseback riding program for children with disabilities and allows children to take advantage of therapeutic benefits such as improved balance and muscle control.
Five local children with various special needs took part in this latest session, which was held at the EJ Joseph Farm in Wheeling. The program is led by a committee of volunteers that include several Easter Seals members along with Wheeling Jesuit students and local horse enthusiasts.
