Texas native Paymon Kamali, 33, shot what is believed to be a course-record 59 at Oglebay Park's Crispin Golf Course on July 1.
Kamali's nephew Marshall witnessed the magical round, as well as normal playing partner Brad Bishop, who wasn't playing that day, but rode along and acted as Kamali's caddie.
The round of 59 consisted of two eagles (holes 8 and 9) and nine birdies. He actually bogeyed No.11, but came back and birdied No.12. Kamali went crazy on the front nine, carding an amazing 26. He actually had a birdie putt on 18 for a 58, but settled for a two-putt par.
Kamali is an AssistAssistantect Manager for Cimmaron and lives with his wife Tara at Oglebay.
