BRIDGEPORT, Ohio - A Bridgeport woman accused in a murder-for-hire plot in October of 2013 will spend four months in jail.

On Friday, Tina Jaworski pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault, a fourth-degree felony. The maximum sentence for the charge was 18 months. She had originally been charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, a first-degree felony.

Jaworski will report to Eastern Ohio Correctional Center in Wintersville, Ohio, in August where she will and spend four months taking anger management classes and going through counseling. Until her reporting date in August, she is out of jail where she has already spent 258 days.

Police said that in October of 2013, Jaworski contacted a friend and asked him to kill her ex-husband's girlfriend. When Jaworski and the man met to discuss the details in the Bridgeport Bob Evan's parking lot, the man recorded their conversation and immediately took the recording to police. Jaworski reportedly gave the man a $200 down payment.

Police wired the man for a second encounter with Jaworski, and another recording was gathered.
