Trial Begins in October for Superintendent Indicted by Grand Jury Investigating Steubenville Rape Case
A trial date has been set for Mike McVey, the Steubenville City Schools superintendent who was indicted by the Grand Jury investigating the Steubenville rape case.
At a pre-trial hearing on Monday, it was decided that the trial will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 14. McVey is accused of deleting computer information during the rape investigation involving two Steubenville High School football players. McVey, who has been on leave from his position as superintendent, was indicted on charges of obstructing justice, tampering with evidence, obstructing official business and falsification.
