West Virginia Open Tennis Tournament Ready To Begin

Posted: Updated:
It's that time of year again, for the West Virginia Open Tennis Championships at Oglebay Park. The Tournament will run all weekend long. First round matches start on Friday evening with the Championship round being held Sunday Morning. The Director of the West Virginia Open Debbie Pickens says this year's tournament will be great because of the field that they have playing.

"We are really excited about the draws that we have this year. Our number one seed on the men's side is Keith Widingham who has played in a lot of futures tournaments. And the number two seed is Jeremy McClelland who is the pro here at Oglebay. The number one seed on the women's side will be Jackie McDermitt."

The tournament will also feature 35, 45, and 55, year old age divisions.
