Man Flown to Hospital After Being Shot in Steubenville, Suspects Found Hiding in Garage

A 31-year-old man was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital Tuesday after being shot twice in Steubenville, and his alleged assailants were found hiding in a garage nearby.

Early Tuesday, Steubenville police responded to a report of shots fired at Oregon and Kendall Avenues, where they found a man hit in the leg and foot.The victim was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.

After a search, officers reportedly found Tiron Noel and Ronin Simmons hiding in the garage of a home on McDowell Avenue.

Noel is charged with felonious assault and having a weapon under disability, while Simmons is charged with felonious assault.

Both were in court first thing Tuesday morning.  Noel is being held on $750,000 dollars bond and Simmons on $250,000.  Noel is on federal probation for prior gun charges.

They both have preliminary hearings set for August 6.
