The Miracle League Plays Ball With The Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pittsburgh Pirates made their way to the Ohio Valley Saturday afternoon to host Miracle League's Fantasy Camp.
15 Ohio Valley athletes and 30 other athletes from the Pittsburgh area Miracle leagues were in attendance. While there, the athletes got to have a clinic experience with Pirates players and coaches. The athletes were taught how to catch, pitch, run bases, and work the outfield.
Players included Ike Davis, Clint Barmes, Charlie Morton, and Stolmy Pimentel. In addition to these players, coaches Jeff Bannister and Nick Leyva were also there to help out. Pirates owner and Wheeling native Bob Nutting was also there.
The Miracle League Field was packed with spectators, fans, and athletes all having a great time.
