U.S. Marshals Step Up Efforts to Find Wanted Sex Offender
The search continues for a convicted sex offender that has been on the run for more than two weeks.
The United States Marshals Service have stepped up their efforts to find and arrest Mustafa Bazbaz, 28. Authorities said Bazbaz took off after a church service more than two weeks ago.
He pleaded guilty in August to travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual content. Bazbaz admitted to communicating with a 15-year-old girl from Jefferson County online. He was out on bond wearing an electronic monitoring device until his sentencing.
He was last seen driving a silver Buick Century with California license plate number 6YUTO65. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bazbaz can call the United States Marshals at 304-218-9286.
