One family is devastated after coming home Friday to find some of their possessions stolen, including Christmas presents, according to police.
According to Sgt. Gregg McKenzie with the Wheeling Police Department, the incident happened at a home on Jones Street in Elm Grove. McKenzie said the family left their house about 2 p.m. Thursday for some early Black Friday shopping. They returned about 1 a.m. and found their kitchen window shattered by a brick.

Police are looking for the suspect or suspects involved, but McKenzie said there are not leads at the moment. He said the family never disclosed the location of the gifts to anyone and that they have no known enemies.
