Victim Identified in Tyler County Well Pad Accident

TYLER COUNTY, W.Va. -

UPDATE:

Tyler County authorities identified Ryan Dunn, 29, of West Virginia as the victim in a well pad accident last Friday in Tyler County.

Dunn was an employee of Precision Drilling contracted by Antero to work at their well pad on Braden Hill Road, Nov. 28 in Tyler County.

According to a release from the Tyler County Sheriff's Office, Dunn and a co-worker were working next to the drill site when they were moving a large rubber tired loader. A co-worker was attempting to move the loader when it ran over Dunn. 

Dun was pronounced dead at the scene.




7 News has learned one man is dead following an accident at the Antero Well Pad in Tyler County.

The accident happened around 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at the well pad on Braden Hill Rd.

The victim's name is not being released at this time.        

The Tyler County Sheriff's Department, Middlebourne Fire Department, Shirley Fire Department, and Middlebourne EMS were all on scene.

The details of the accident are not being released, but the investigation is being handled by the Tyler County Sheriff's Dept.
