CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -

Attorney General Patrick Morrisy is warning West Virginians about an email scam that offers free movie tickets.

Morrisey says the sender's real purpose is to collect personal information.

The email arrives with a headline urging the recipient to confirm four movie tickets. It tells recipients they have won tickets to a theater of their choosing, and the tickets will be shipped after the recipient clicks on an embedded link. Once the link is clicked, the consumer is directed to a survey that asks for personal information.

The email is sent from www.nicereview.net , which purports to be an electronic gadget review site but is a blank webpage. The address associated with the email is a vacant office.
