Man Hospitalized After Fight at Wheeling Bar

WHEELING -

Wheeling Police responded to an incident at a local bar Saturday, leading to one man with a possible broken nose and 17 stitches.   

Police said that the man was hit over the head multiple times inside of the Owl's Nest.

They were called to the scene after the suspect had reportedly walked up behind the victim at the bar, and hit him in the head several times.

The suspect had left the scene by the time police arrived, and the victim was taken to the hospital where he received stitches to his lip and eye brow.

After reviewing security footage, police believe they have identified the suspect.
