WHEELING, W.Va -

A man police were looking for in Belmont County was caught in Ohio County Wednesday afternoon.

Wheeling Police spotted Buck Ward walking near 29th Street in Wheeling. The Wheeling K9 Unit found Ward and placed him under arrest without incident.

Tuesday, Ward resisted arrest when officers arrived at his home. Officers say he fought off attempts to taser him. Ward allegedly smashed a window, jumped out of the second story, and took off running toward the river.
